We are located in Località Mangiabarche, in Calasetta, on the northwestern side of the island of Sant’Antioco, one of the most unspoiled places in the Sulcis Iglesiente area.
Before us, on a rock emerging from the sea, stands the Mangiabarche Lighthouse: built in 1935, a silent guardian of ancient routes, today it is the romantic and fascinating image of this corner of Sardinia.
Just 800 meters away, Spiaggia Grande welcomes you with its light sand framed by golden dunes and juniper groves. The water is that of the truest Sardinia: crystal clear, iridescent, with those turquoise hues that seem painted. All around, the Mediterranean scrub perfumes the air with resin, thyme and salt.

How to Reach Us
By plane
The nearest airport is Cagliari-Elmas, located about 1h 30min by car. Once you land, the easiest way to reach us is to rent a car directly at the airport. The island of Sant’Antioco is connected to Sardinia by a convenient bridge. The road runs along the Sulcis, offering you the first glimpses of a wild landscape like no other.
By ferry
If you are already on the nearby island of San Pietro, you can easily reach us by sea: the ferry from Carloforte docks at the port of Calasetta, which is only 7 km from our hotel. A short but evocative crossing in the heart of the archipelago.
By car
Reaching us from the rest of Sardinia is very simple thanks to the connecting road bridge. Follow the SS126 past Sant’Antioco and continue for about 10 km.
From here you can choose two routes:
Just before the entrance to Calasetta, at the large crossroads for the port, turn left and continue for about 7 km, reaching the hotel without going through the town
Or enter Calasetta and follow the signs for the three beaches. Once you pass the third one (Spiaggia Grande), you just need to drive 500 meters along a scenic dirt road to reach us.
